BMAC Super Shaker

Project Overview

BMAC Industries partnered with SOENCO to develop a commercial shaker and dryer system for the Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing industry. The project centered on creating a reliable production machine that could withstand continuous commercial use while remaining straightforward to manufacture, install, service, and maintain.

SOENCO approached the system around the practical needs of print shop operators and service personnel. Electrical controls, mechanical assemblies, operator interfaces, and overall product architecture were developed together, with reliability and maintainability treated as primary engineering requirements rather than afterthoughts.

The completed Super Shaker provides a robust platform for demanding print environments. Its modular construction simplifies transportation and installation while field-serviceable assemblies help minimize downtime during commercial operation.

Engineering Challenges

1
Continuous commercial operation
Electrical and mechanical systems needed to perform reliably under the sustained operating demands of production environments.
2
Field serviceability
Major assemblies needed to be accessible and replaceable without requiring extensive machine disassembly or specialized service procedures.
3
Integrated system design
Shaker mechanisms, drying systems, control electronics, and operator interfaces needed to function as one coordinated machine.
4
Practical installation and transportation
The physical architecture needed to accommodate commercial installations while simplifying shipping, handling, and setup.
5
Repeatable manufacturing
Component selection and assembly methods needed to support consistent manufacturing, assembly, and future service.
